Registered will v/s unregistered fake will.

(Querist) 25 December 2016 This query is : Resolved
My grandmother owned a house property which before her death made a registered will in favour of my granfather in march 2000. After her death my granfather made another registered will in favour of me in feb 2003. Mean while my two uncle presented a un registered will before us april 2000 of my grandmother in which its mentioned that the property belongs to my two uncle and my father. My grandmother died in sept 2000 and my grand father also died in may 2010.
Who will own the property as according to will i am the original to have so. My grandfather have already given lot of property to my uncle before and mentioned in the will as well. Plz help me

Registration of will is not mandatory.

Latest will would be valid provided it contains all ingredients of valid will.

If you wish, discuss with local lawyer and challenge the will produced by your uncles if it is apparently of later date.

The last will whether registered or un-registered come into force after the death of the Testator.

From your version it seems real that your grand father execut3ed a will registered in your favour as your uncles had already been given lots of property. Obviously latter will is genuine.Let them challenge the will in court. Certainly you'll have upper hand in proving genuineness of the will.

Show all the document(s) of "WILLs" to a local lawyer for proper appreciation, guidance and proceeding, your query is, prima facie, confusing and lacking vital information to form an opinion and advise.
