Ask your sister ti file various cases under various acts like u/s 498A ipc, 12 of PWDV Act etc. If he is torturing your sister then he should be brought to books.

Mutual consent not before 1 year of separation and after the lapse of one year to the marriage..... Better is file a petition for nullity of marriage under section 11 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1956....

If he is doing intentionally drag him to court,if there is any mental disorder take him to a psychiatrist and get him treated.If U can mention the reasons for his previous divorce that could be of some help.

Your sister should file cases under DV Act, 498A, 125 etc. Consult local lawyer. Collect all documents related to previous marriage, divorce and related proofs in your favor.

Legally you can file cases against the person but it will take your time and money also.

You want to take divorce so that you can remarry her so first find out if you can find a candidate.

Since you already compromised by marriage with a divorcee.

Live apart and let the matters cool off and in between go on sending proposals for solution , it will be easy sure and simple.
