My father in law abuses and uses harsh language with me and asks to leave their house but my husband is not leaving that house and i want to complaint against my father in law under Domestic Violence Act as he often abuses my and my family members (my own parents). as he is a senior citizen thats why i asked this.

You have right to file a complaint against him, there is no other provision for senior citizen

Yes. you can. But think several times before taking such a drastic step against him keeping in view of his old age.
