Share certificate

The Chairman & Secretatry has signed on the Share Certificate as transfer in the name of Purchaser without execution of prescribed forms.

After six months, When, I approached the Society that there are certain documents / forms should have been executed for transfer of Share Certificate, they told me we could complete these formalities now. However, the Seller has left the town and we do not have his whereabouts. Therefore, can we execute such documents without the signature of seller and instead could attach the Registered Sale Deed.
