Sale deed not available

How do i sell a property whose Sale deed has been lost? The Sale Deed copy from Register Office records is not readable and very old.Please advice.

I think the document is an old one. Take a photo of the original deed from the Registrar Office. If it is 20 years back, you can login to IGR of your state and download it.

You can get a certified copy of the SRO. If not readable, you may seek the assistance of experts.

It is an unbelievable statement that record of sale deed is not available with Sub-Registrar.

Sir, the document available with SRO is unreadable. I got a CC from the SRO after strugling for a month.The xerox copy is very faint and i am not able to recognize anything on the document.
