Cheque dishonour

In December 2016 I give a PDC cheque of Rs 120000/- to my vendor for due balance, and before deposit of cheque I transfer of Rs50000/- in his bank account, so now vendor total balance 70000 but he deposit the cheque and after return the cheque he claimed for total 120000... Before got the legal notice I sent mail to my vendor that send me your ledger I will clear now your due but no response, after got the notice again I sent mail with everything and ready to pay balance amount but he not ready... Now he suit a case against me please guide me

Consult and discuss with a Local good senior advocate in detail and with all evidences he would take care.But make sure your presence is mandatory in the Court during all the hearings and make sure you appear in the court on the date mentioned in summon.

Cheque for 1,20,000/- was bounced, case for lesser amount can not be shown in the case.

Try to have amicable settlement.

If not possible, defend the case.
