Documents for property

sir/mam,

we have purchased a resell value DDA flat in 2006.
and we have only two documents.
1) sale deed
2) General power of atorny.

are they sufficient for our property or we have to arrange another documents for future refference.

please suggest us.

1. Whether your (present owner's) name has been mutated (registered) in the records of DDA against the said property or not?

2. Whether the Sale deed has been registered by paying stamp duty, with the Sub-Registrar's Office?

3. Whether the person, who gave the GPA is alive now?
