"Matter is fixed for payment however at this stage it is submitted by the counsel
for parties that matter has been settled between parties and seeks adjournment. Heard.

can respondent refuse for settlement afterwards?

statement was made by counsel that case has been settled . however the terms of settlement have not been placed on record before the court . case was adjourned for said purpose . but before the terms are placed down in writing and signed by parties respondent can refuse to sign the same
