Community certificate change

I am 22 years old in Chennai. Need to change community certificate from MBC to BC due to misspellings in caste I got MBC certificate. Obtained community certificate before 8 years. Please tell me procedures to get it corrected.

Go to the same office from where you obtained the MBC Certificate. Make an application stating the facts and seek a certificate for BC. They will definitely give you the revised community certificate.

Am also agree with mr.ramachandran. But Actually whats the purpose to change your community certificate from mbc to bc.? While your current community certificate you can get some more benefits know? Then what?

It is better to obtain fresh certificate without mentioning earlier one otherwise it shall create many difficulties and frivolous inquiries wasting time and energy.

I agree getting new community certificate but it shows differnce in my Transfer certificate and community certificate. whether it would create problem in future. Also pls let me any link to know process followed to get community certificate changed giving old one. i am in chennai.

I have reached tahildar office to change it.they are asking to modify first in transfer certificate. Issue is i have got my diploma degree in MBC quota..whether i am right in going to college and changing it?
