Simply issuing pleader notice after 4 to 6 years from the last of cause of action to cover up the limitation will acceptable or not.
Kiran Kumar (Expert) 07 September 2011
it will not extend the limitation under the Consumer Protection Act.

Limitation is a mandatory provision and limitation period as provided can not be extended by merely sending a legal notice.

No it can not be.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 07 September 2011
Limitation cannot be extended by notice of lawyer rather law of limitation relates directly with the time of accrual of cause of action. Cover up tactics shall not prevail.
