Hi,

We are running education society, now we want to convert it into trust because some anti social elements are creating unnessary problem so please any one give the details procedure.

whether you can avoid the problems created by anti-social elements even after you convert your education society in to trust? There is lot of difference in the management of a education society and a trust.

I presume the Edu. Society as of now stands registered under the Society's Act. Have it also registered as a Trust under the Trust Act after making a careful chioce of Trustees, persons of integrity, educational standing and public repute.

Is ur Society situated in Mumbai? If so, please go to the Charity Commissioner's Office at Worli Naka and obtain the application forms for registering ur Society as a Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act. They will give u the detailed guidance as to what documents are to be enclosed and the fees payable for the purpose. your Society will have to pass resolutions for registering the Society as public Trust which should be enclosed to the Application form.
