Property Mutation

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 25 January 2011 This query is : Resolved
Do I need a no objection certificate from other legal heirs of my father to get a portion of the mutated in my name, which was meant to be given to me by my father in his will. I have 3 brothers and one sister and we all have been given a portion of land on the same plot. Since ours is a big family and some of them are settled abroad and not willing to come down to delhi for joint mutation. How can I get my area mutated in my name?
Khaleel Ahmed (Expert) 25 January 2011
Not necessary. Mutation can be done as per will executed by your father.
Parveen Kr. Aggarwal (Expert) 25 January 2011
If will was executed by your father during his life-time, the presence of other legal heirs is not mandatory for mutation after the death of your father.

Mutation is only for Demand & for payment Tax
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 26 January 2011
