For affixing advocated logo on vehicles is it necessory that the registered owner of the vehicle should be an advocate? Can we affix on vehicles which is not owned by us but frequently used by us? is there such law regarding this?

There is no such law. The logo is meant to denote that the vehicle belongs to an Advocate but it has no meaning that the registration certificate of the vehicle is also in the name of advocate.

I am Law Graduate but not enrolled in the Bar Council due to my employment. Can I affix the advocate's logo on my car?
B K Raghavendra Rao
(Expert) 09 April 2010
Law graduates not enrolled in the Bar Council cannot display or use the logo of an advocate.
It has come to the notice of police that many people who are not advocate are using the logo of advocates on the vehicles just to gain preferential treatment. Recently, the police in Bangalore were checking many vehicles using the logo of doctors and lawyers for misuse of logo meant for their profession.

It is a very useful information to share. Are there any legal provisions which stipulate such actions?
