my father died in 2021 .now my brother and mother want to sell this property.
As a daughter what should i do ?
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 03 April 2023
The property was purchased by your father on the names of your mother and your brothers, therefore the property legally belongs to them alone and not you.
It makes no difference whether your father is alive or dead because literally and legally he has not left this property for intestate succession because he do not have title or interest in this property.
Therefore you cannot object your mother and male siblings from selling the property as per their will and wish.

Yes. I agree with the advice of the learned expert Sri T.Kalaiselvan sir.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 04 April 2023
I concur the opinion and advise of learned Mr. T Kalaiselvan, you have no right, interest, claim or title in the property purchased by your father in the names of your mother and brothers.

However, your mother may gift/ sale her right in your favour or you may get a share in the intestate property left (on demise) by your mother.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 05 April 2023
It is immaterial that your father purchased the property on the names of your mother and brothers since your mother and brothers are title holder and absolute owner of property so you have no right to make objections .
