IN HYDERABAD THERE IS A SPECIFIC DIRECTIVE FROM THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE NOT TO REGISTER COMPLAINTS OF MOBILE THEFTS SINCE LARGE PEOPLE LOSE THEIR MOBILES EVERY DAY AND THE LOCAL POLICE IS FACING ADMINISTRATIVE PROBLEM REGISTERING THE COMPLAINT AND ISSUING A NOT TRACEABLE CERTIFICATE, HOWEVER, SINCE SOME SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION IS BEING MISUSED YOU CAN APPROACH THE CYBER CELL OF THE POLICE AND LODGE THE COMPLAINT. THE CYBER CELL IS SITUATED AT MASAB TANK.

in 1st instance u have to approach ur cellular company and give imei no of ur phone and request them to block ur mobile.

Right Sir,

tommorow i'll submit application to cyber crime with IMEI no,S/N, and manufacturing date also.

I also got in touch with person,to whom he called yesterday night and i also asked cellur company to provide me details of call so that this also i can submit.

Mobile user: Every Mobile phone consists of 15 digist number: just press star with hash and press 06 hash. The phone will show 15 seril digist number. Note that 15 serial digist Number and note your IMFI number, your mobile model its mker and last used. And send your name and address to cop@vsnl.net. Your mobile will be traced out, no need to filed FIR.

Sri N.K. Assumi has given the correct procedure. But, this may or may not work. Police complaint is a must. If traced by vsnl or by police, you will not get your set without a police complaint.
