I would like to seek advise on case related to transportation of Nilgai meat in a car. the case is registered u/s 9/51 under wild life protection act 1972.

Nilgai (blue bull) is a protected species and hunting of this species has been long banned.
The act states that hunting of schedule I animals, including lions and tigers, attract a minimum imprisonment of three years which could be extended upto seven years.
On the other hand, offences related to trade and commerce in trophies and animals parts, attract imprisonment upto three years and a fine upto Rs 25,000

you must have been interrogated . what statement you gave to the officers? your car will be seized and you would be sentenced to imprisonment if found guilty

In the capacity of a civil engineer, were you transporting the meat of Nilgai in your official vehicle or a private vehicle and from which place to which place you were transporting the same?

YOU CAN READ
Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972.
Section 2 (16) “hunting”, with its grammatical variations and cognate expressions, includes,—
13[(a) killing or poisoning of any wild animal or captive animal and every attempt to do so;
(b) capturing, coursing, snaring, trapping, driving or baiting any wild or captive animal and every attempt to do so;]
(c) injuring or destroying or taking any part of the body of any such animal or, in the case of wild birds or reptiles, damaging the eggs of such birds or reptiles, or disturbing the eggs or nests of such birds or reptiles;
32) “uncured trophy” means the whole or any part of any captive animal or wild animal, other than vermin, which has not undergone a process of taxidermy, and includes a 26[freshly killed wild animal, ambergris, musk and other animal products];

1[9. Prohibition of hunting.—No person shall hunt any wild animal specified in Schedules I, II, III and IV except as provided under section 11 and section 12.]
