Cheque credit after bank debited

Sir

when i present to bank dt: 04-08-2013 bank cleared and same of amount is credit with in day.after banker tie up with drawer and revised with in the day .bank given cheque i the name of my firm and ch.memo:material is alteration in the instrument,req :sig of drawer ,bank person alter date instead of 09-08-2013 what can i do tell me sir.... (cheque details is all ok but date already by bank what action will taken against bank..

Any cheque sent for clearing is once credited in the account of payee and if not cleared the same is again debited and majority of the bankers adopt this procedure.

You claim that the Bankers have changed the date on cheque deposited by you, have you got the verified photocopy of cheque (before deposit) to prove your claim. It is not believable that any Banker will do so as it is associated with risk to his service if proved may invite disciplinary action.
