Dear sir,

please any one tell me the provisions available for Staff Grievances under RTI Act. also send me the case laws and details of the case. please also send links to the case laws

A large no. of application received under RTI Act pertain to grievances of the employees related to service matters.In this connection , a circular was issued by this office intimating the details of officers designated as staff grievance officers and its subordinate officers.It was also indicated therein that they can approach the higher oficials in case their grievances are not redressed properly by the lower officers.Inspite of the above instructions , employees continue to resort to making applications under RTI ACT.
It is informed that requests for information from employees under RTI ACT would be first considered by APIO, who is also a staff grievance officer, for possible redressal before registering the same under the RTI ACT."
