one of my sister resides in haridwar . she wants to file an affidavit in the delhi's district court which needs to be sworn before the oath commissioner . can she file the affidavir duly sworn before any oath commissioner in hatidwar or what is the correct procedure . she cannot come to delhi as she is sick .

She can swear it before the Oath Commissioner of Haridwar itself, no need to come to Delhi for this purpose.
Even the local Notary Public will do.

Sir, should the oath commisioner be the one appointed by the high court of that state or any other oath commisioner appointed by the state will also be eligible . (2) will the attestation by the oath commissioner of hariwar valid in delhi court . thanks

IF AN AFFIDAVIT IS REQUIRED TO BE SWORN AND TO BE FILLED IN DISTRICT OR CIVIL COURT OF DELHI SWEARING OATH COMMISSIONER APPOINTED BY THE DISTRICT JUDGE OF HARIDWAR WILL SERVE THE PURPOSE.IN CASE REQUIRED TO BE FILLED BEFORE HIGH COURT SWEARING BEFORE THE OATH COMMISSIONER APPOINTED BY HIGH COURT OF UTTARAKHAND SHOULD BE PREFERRED.
