Mutual divorce

Can somebody let me know the procedure for mutual divorce and what all documentation required. I doubt that my wife and her parents may cheat us during this process please let me know the proper procedure to deal with such situation. Procedure as per Haryana state, should we go to district court or SDM court for mutual settlement? Also, I don't want her to reclaim any settlement money again in the future.
Please help!!

contact a local lawyer . he will prepare pettion for divorce by mutual consent . you have to move petition after period of 1 year. discuss the terms before hand regarding maintenance , right of residence , custody of children etc so that you dont have any problems later .

At any rate of the matter it can not be sdm court.It would be a family court probably either sitting in civil court campus or in separate premises,if arranged by state.

You can file divorce suit on mutual consent after one year of marriage in District or Family Court and should mention specifically in the petition that the petitioner No.2/wife would not claim any maintenance/alimony in future in any court of Law.Even where the marriage has been dissolved by mutual consent,the divorced wife unable to maintain herself can claim maintenance till she remarry.(Sadasivam Pillai Vs. Vijaya Lakshmi 187 Cr.LJ 765:(1986) 3 Crimes 508:(1987)1`Ker LT 381)
