I brief a case. Deceased a government pensioner did not include his second wife legal heir. First wife predeceased him and 3 boys are born to the first wife. One daughter was born to the second wife. All the children of the deceased consented to include the step mother as one of the legal heirs and Legal Heirship is issued including all the five surviving legal heirs of the deceased. What is the procedure to claim family pension with arrears for the second wife. The claimant has to obtain Succession Certificate from Court for pension claims. Please advise.

succession certificate is sufficient for this purpose and as there is no dispute between the legal heirs of the deceased so make representation accordingly.
