cbi in corruption case has not registered the name of one person in the fir even after 12 months but he has been arreseted and released on bail. no chargesheet filed

In the course of investigation the investigating agency can any person even if his name is not mentioned in the FIR if his complicity is found. However at the time of submission of Charge Sheet if the investigating agency finds after completion of investigation that the said person is not involved in the alleged crime, his name may be omitted in the Charge Sheet.
