Hi, do anyone have an idea on the procedure to get allotment letter from MHADA. My father bough the property in 2006. after his death we would like to sell this property, but we do not have allotment letter and share certificate. society does not have share certificate. kindly advice how i can avail both the document

If they are registered you'd have got certified copies which are as good as originals from sub registrar office If they are public documents you'd have got them through RT(I so there is no chance for you to get share certficates.

Vague advice of Ms. Usha Kappor without understanding the question! She is really proving to be a fake expert. She does not know that allotment letters issued by the MHADA are not registered with the Sub-registrar office. She should have known that allotment letter is not a Sale Deed or Lease Deed to be registered with the SRO. She should also have known that Share Certificates issued by the housing societies are also not registered with the SRO.
