Vague query without any information. Consult a local prudent lawyer for proper appreciation of facts and circumstances of the case, guidance and proceeding.

Mr. Harihar Rao,
Very vague query in the absence of any description!
Even otherwise, no mother prefers to file a DV case against his son unless she is so fed up with the the extreme nature of misbehaviour from her son and daughter-in-law.
make a serious review of yours and your wife's attitude towards your mother. Else, discuss the real problem appropriately, if you really face.

Mother can file a DV case and even more e.g. maintainance, eviction etc etc ……. If case is bogus, prove in court, on merits.
