Can any person purchase gaothan plot.... what documents should v look for??Is it Legal to buy such plot?? Looking to buy it for building bunglow for my family... please help me with advice...

Gaothan Plots are normally owned by Villagers with no legal documents and they could claim it back any time.It is up to you in taking the risk by buying it.

Neither the villagers can sell it nor you can buy since the title of the land is vested with Gram Panchayat, a common land of villagers.
