FIR U/s498 a and 406 ipc no charge sheet after 15 months

respected sir FIR was lodged against me and my mother U/s 498 a and 406 of ipc on 2/10/08 my mother got bail from dist court and i got arrest stay order from punjab and haryana high court and on 13/10/09 i got permanent bail BUT STILL NOT CHARGESHETD STILL AFTER 15 MONTHS BY I/O HOW MUCH TIME I HAVE TO WAIT I AM SUFFERING. I GOT ALL THE PROOFS EVEN TRUCK WHICH OTHER PARTY CLAIM THAT DOWRY WAS GIVEN DOES NOT EXIST INFORMATION GOT UNDER RTI. BUT POLICE IS NOT DOING ANYTHING WHAT SHOULD I DO IN THIS CASE PLEASE HELP.....

You can ask for quashing the FIR from High Court and the delay in filing the charge goes in your favour. You need to be guided by an expert senior advocate who handles criminal matters. I think you are not presenting the full set of facts and I know that there will be other facts and considerations and you need to place everything before your advocate. Don't worry, justice will prevail.

Sir In my opinion It would be useless to approach to HC, because Limitation period for filing charge sheet is three years in this case. You should wait and hope for the best, justice will prevail.

There is no option but to wait. Police doesn't do anything in these case. No need to worry but due to our system, you have to wait.
