Legality of signature

Dear Sir,
A contractor registered with a Central Govt. department doing his business by putting the signature (In English) on various documents / contract agreement as depicted on his letters / correspondence with the department. He made a false complaint to the CBI against one official of the department and has not put his signature as appeared in the record of department / his letter of correspondence. Only his name along with his father name in Hindi (Mr ‘X’ s/o Mr ‘Y’ ) appeared over the complaint.
During the evidence in the court he deposed that he also used the signature in Hindi and Mr ‘X’ s/o Mr ‘Y’ is his signature in Hindi. Other hand he has not put that signature as claimed over the complaint in the document of CBI & court. Over the CBI/ court document he put his signature as Mr ‘X’ only.
In this scenario the signature put over the complaint , CBI/ court document are the valid / authenticated signature in the light of law or it may be treated the fake one.

What is the opinion of your own lawyer in the CBI case?

In fact there are several missing features in your description. However, law does not prohibit a person to keep his signature in more than one language.

let a person keep any No of signatures and all such signatures can be seen through in forensic investigation.
