Help in proceeding in delay

Respected all,

1) How many days limit is present for submitting report by police if court passed order u/s 202 of CrPC ?

2) I have filed complaint almost 10 months passed but except dates I am not receiving anything from court. what remedy may I take to start proceeding for my complaint ?

Hon Court knows through submitted documents that offence had been committed but proceeding not started till date ?

police are over burdened . hence the report is not submitted on time . the police generally take extensions for submitting report . draw attention of the court to the fact that 10 months have passed yet no report is submitted
