Wife share in husband property.

My Sister is married as per Hindu Vedic Rites & divorce case is pending in the civil court. My sister's husband had taken a life insurance policy from L.I.C. of India before marriage and now it is matured. I want to know whether my sister is eligible to claim for policy amount.If yes then please suggest judgment of supreme court. I have cleared my L.L.B. course but not practice as an Advocate. Please guide me.

not possible until the court order for either maintenance or permanent alimony.

It is in the name of your sister's husband and now it is matured so at this stage, he can obtain this money but not your sister, unless there is no maintenance claimed by your sister.
