Damage to car at service center

Car belonging to our company met with accident. Thereafter, we brought it to authorized service center for accidental repairs.
Service center issued estimates of repairs. As we were busy negotiating insurance claim there was delay in carrying out repairs.
Service center informed that we will have to pay parking charges Rs. 250 per day. we agreed for the same.
After few days we found that the car was not in the service center. They had kept it outside their premises due to which remaining parts and machinery was stolen.
what legal action can we take?

yes, you can claim damages from service provider, get all the document of service,either you can go civil suit or consumer court for claiming.

issue legal notice for deficency in service . file claim before consumer forum for compensation etc . contact a local lawyer

Yes, it is serious kind of deficiency of service.
Do file complaint in the Consumer Forum.
At the same time lodge complaint with the maker of the Car about shoddy deals of its own authorised center.

Not only this is a criminal misappropriation of your personal property but also a negligence in the duty so you can not only file criminal case but also a consumer complaint seeking compensation.

Does this theft not cover in the Insurance policy.
You were forced to keep car at garage for longer duration due to deficiency in servic eby Insurance Co.
Your consumer complaint lie against both.

File complaint in consumer court after issuing needed legal notice.

if you have not received compensation from car service center within 3 months after lodging complaint at above mentioned site, you can go the consumer form.
