i want to know authenticity of stamp papers.why it is used.if 2 people record their statements on stamp paper and create some legal relations then how to know value of stamp paper.suppose i want to delcare by giving my rights to someone how much rupee stamp paper required.and pls tell me such statement r recorded on plain paper then how much it add to its authenticity.

all are authentic in some means. in example for child the currency is paper but it have value those it use for purpose.

stamp duty is payable as per indian stamp act on transaction specified therein.

can we know that which type of your right giving to someone?

DEAR EXPERTS I WANT TO KNOW IF SOME DECLARATION IS MADE BETWEEN 2 PARTIES ON STAMP PAPER AND ONE ON PLAIN PAPER WHICH ONE HAS AUTHENTICITY.PLS EXPLAIN ME A LITTLE MORE WHAT IS DIFERENCE BETWEEN STAMP DUTY AND COURT FEES.

In general, authenticity of stamp papers lies in the revenue earned through such stamp papers to meet with the expenditure on legal issues, establishment and maintenance of courts and payment of salaries and perks to the judges, and to judge the legal authenticity of documents as and when need arises at the time of dispensing with justice according to the law of the land to the citizens of India.

If your desired declaration is so secret then buy a stamp duty of the state in which your secret agreement has to be executed then go through schedule enlisting types of agreement and payable duties thereon and accordingly purchase the stamp in case you still find that doubtful and unable to under stand the amount of duty payable,you have option to submit the draft before execution before collector of the district for adjudication of proper stamp duty,thereafter you need also to ascertain if your declaration agreement requires registration or not for which you need to go through provisions contained in registration Act,to decide you need registration or not.
