Sir,
Our company is 100% EOU and registered with STPI,Chennai,whether we have to maintain the registers like attendance,leave,salary..etc as a Hard copy,we are maintaing the soft copy of the same.kindly advice us to proceed.

Rule 17 of the Central Excise Rule 17
100%EOU shall maintain in proper form appropriate account relating to production, descripttion of goods, quantity removed, duty paid and each removal shall be made on an invoice. Format- Notification No. 59/2010-CE (NT) dated 6th august, 2001 {Annexure-11} of Central excise manual

Dear Mr.Ajay Sethi,
My Query is related to Maintenance of Registers under Tamilnadu Shops and Establishment Act 1947 for a 100%EOU company registered with Software Technology Park of India,chennai.
I am in need of your advice in this regard.

IT-ITES companies are exempted from the provisions of Chapter II and III of the Tamil Nadu
Shops and Establishments Act, 1947.
iii. IT-ITES companies are exempted from the provisions of Section 5 (2) (a) (i) and (ii) of the
Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (National and Festival Holidays) Act, 1958.
as per the IT Policy of the government of State of Tamil Nadu, all software industries and units have been exempted from the applicability of the Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act 1947
