my sister's husband had 1 LIC policy he is no more now my sister cums2 know that my sister name is their in nominee but her name was written wrong in place of meenu its written meena
now wat do we do to get the claim
pl advice us

Right. An affidavit stating both the names belong to the same person should solve the problem.

LIC has settled many claims having similar facts. Submit a affidavit duly motorised to the insurance company

I agree with the experts. Also if you know the LIC agents, then they will also help you out of this problem since it is a very minor one. You tell tell them it is a clerical mistake instead of the last word "u" it is written as "a" or else u looks like a if it is handwritten.
