sir

my friend is studying in 12 class from cbse board. he wants to change his surname in 12 class (cbse board).

is it possible to change surname in 12 class . if yes, what procedure should be applied . and which documents should be required to change the surname in 12 class ????
pls explain in detail.

Yes, by swearing an affidavit before the fist class magistrate and then publishing it in the news paper.
