We having 87 plots in our colony layout which was laid in year 1975 by Housing society through panchayat approval, one plot its approach was stopped using it due to two plots gave their plots for development and took its entrance to other side in 2014 approach way was sold off by housing society representative showing as plot do it is authorised to so

I have had filed a petition for fair rent u/s - 17(6) of the West Bengal Premises Act in 2014 before the Additional Rent Controller at Alipur judges Court, Kolkata. The defendant is my tenant. The matter is still as of sub judice since 2014. The hearing date for fair rent fixation was fixed several times. But due to reasons like the opposite party was sick, the post of the ARC was vacant for a long time, then came the COVID-19 pandemic, till date the hearing never happened. Furthermore, after searching rent records, if it found that the tenant has not deposited any rent with the Additional Rent controller ( the previous old rent amount, the postal money order of which I refused earlier ) since 2014, I filed the suit for a fair rent. Could I file a suit for eviction in another court at the same Alipur Judges Court, on the ground that he has never tendered any rent deposit since 2014 with the Additional Rent Controller, nevertheless, the suit for fair rent fixation is still sub judice with the additional rent controller, Judges court at Alipore, Kolkata?

No Nomination or will signed by him.
Will be helpful to know the list of documents to be present at SRA office & Society office.

Respected Lawyers,
I had filed consumer case in Hon'able District Consumer Forum.
The case was on "Evidence of Complaint Stage".
Due to health issues I could not appear on the last hearing.
Now when I checked case status for next date, it is showing in "Consideration Stage" and daily order "Complainant absent, o.p.present, this case is fixed for disposal on date-xyz".
Can you please guide me, the meaning of it.
Does it mean that the case is over now and will be disposed off on the next date?
or I have a chance to submit the Written Evidence of Complaint. if Yes should it be submitted before next date?

Dear All,
When i approached a Document Writer regarding transferring my father-in-law's self-acquired property to my daughter as a gift deed, he said that we have to pay 6% as it falls into 'others'. I was not convinced though. Since my daughter's surname is different to my in-law's surname it falls into 'other' categories, he claimed.
I believe that we have to pay less stamp duty as she is a blood relative. The property is located in Telangana.
Do maternal grandchildren qualify for the 'blood-related' category of a Gift Deed? Please suggest me.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

I passed the Secondary exam with 64.87% marks in the year 2004 from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and passed Higher Secondary exam with 56.4 marks in the year 2006 from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary examination.
I have 42.51 % in B. Com (H) from Calcutta University in the year 2009 and completed M. Com from Netaji Subhas Open University with 64.10 % marks in the year 2022.
Am I eligible for admission in a 3-year LLB course from any University in West Bengal?

Respected Experts here,
I have purchased a hydraulic crane in January 2021, we have a written agreement of the purchase with notarized legally and I had paid the whole amount to the vendor and I have possession of hydraulic crane,
1. The vendor is not transferring the title/name from RTO and he is not responding to my calls so the papers still remain in the name of the vendor.
2. we had an oral agreement that the vendor will bear the cost of RC extension of the hydraulic crane at RTO but the same he does not respond to any call.
I have sent a legal notice as well but didn't receive any reply within 15 days.
so respected experts what all remedies I have from the court and what can I do now, can I register an FIR for both the cause, or do I have to move to court in the civil suit?

Plz guide me in the following issue
A real estate buisiness firm purchased landed property from the family of X.
At the time of sale agreement purchaser firm has agreed to sell one plot to X for Rs. 6 lakhs, within two months of completing the process of layout formation, if it fails to agreed to repay double of the amount. said agreement was executed 25/10/2012. since then X family requesting for implimentation of agreement. Due to old age X could not able to initiate any proceedings basing on said agreement till date.
Whether he can initiate legal proceedings against the Real Estate business firm now ?
Plz mention under what provisions X can file a case
Is it mandatory to serve notice to the Business firm partners prior to filing of case

In a partition suit, there are 8 defendants.
For a given Plaintiff written statement and request for amendments -
1. Can only Defendant 3 can file objection without mentioning other defendants ?
2. Is it right to mention as "defendants already filed their written statements" by Defendant 3 alone in objection?
3. Does court considered this as all other defendants have agreed to what Defendant 3 is saying?

Land selling
My brother get a land from my father by gift deed which is within the house where I reside. The land was registered without my knowledge.
Now my brother want to sale the land. I offer him to sale the land to me at valuation price. He asked double rate of present market valuation.
If the land is sold to other person, can I raise objection & file any case ?
