Missing possession letter/certificate issued by the builder

I don't have possession letter and certificate issued by the builder for my flat. All other original copies like registered sales deed, sales agreement , allotment letter etc.are available with me. Now I am selling my flat and buyer is asking for possession letter. How to proceed? Does possession letter/certificate has any legal value? Registerd sales deed already has the possession clause as below
"possession of the said unit has been handed over to the VENDEE, the VENDEE hereby confirms taking over possession of the said unit from the VENDOR after satisfying himself and that the VENDEE has no complaint or claim in respect of the area of said Unit, any item of work, material, quality of work etc., therein."

In my view not necessary. But you ask the builder to give you a copy of the possession certificate as the buyer demands it.

Hello,
The para stated by you in the query shows that you are in possession of the property. The sale deed is also registered so there is no necessity for a possession letter.

When all essential and legally required papers has been made available to you with possession of property then possession letter has no importance or required.

Yes, duly registered sale deed is a complete document as to your ownership as well possession.

You are in power and possession of the property which you are going to hand it over to the vendee after registration of sale documents, therefore, possession letter (stated to have been missing) is immaterial, of no consequence/ useless.
