(Querist) 18 March 2021 This query is : Resolved
Sir

Can One write a letter to Chief Justice of High Court or Supreme court to intervene and do justice for any of his grievance which also affects good number of people .

Is it okay to write a respectful letter praying for justice.

Thanks

Such a letter shall be treated as Public Interest Litigation, if the CJI got convinced/ took cognizance .
You should write and wait for the result, there is nothing wrong or illegal.

Yes, you can write. However, the letter would be considered as a PIL only if the issue highlighted is exceptional.
