what to do against bank for wrong debit

Sir, What are the legal remedies available for accountholder if bank don,t reverse the debit entry for cheque,which was returned on account of difference in signature.cheque issued by me and dishonoured (cheque is in my custody right now).letter sent to Manager already 2 months before.

Send registered letter to head office of the Bank giving reference of your letter to Branch.

If Bank does not reverse the entry, file consumer complaint.

cheque amount was 100000/- and date was 24-10-2010.Letter sent in the month of sep 2017.what should be the compensation in legal notice

Consumer complaint can be filed in 2 years from the date of cause of action.

In legal notice you may ask for interest and compensation.
