Hello experts, many kids studying in GCC countries does not possess an adhaar card and mandatory to appear for the JEE. Is it possible to go for an appeal to waive the rule of mandatory Adhaar number for JEE Exams as the deadline is January 2, 2017.

They are only students studying abroad and they are eligible for Adhaar Card. The Money what you are ready to spend for Appeal and Court expenses better Fix an Appointment with Adhaar Card authorities and Let your children come and apply for it and go Instead of Complicating the Issue.

The Indian student studying abroad is Just a Student and Not an NRI-Foreigner
Kumar Doab (Expert) 07 December 2016
So far anyone that is abroad has to come to nearest Aadhar center.

Rest you may satisfy yourself by speaking to authorities.

Yes Expert Mr.Kumar Doab Is Right Even in the Case of NRI-Foreigner they have to be Physically Present in the Concerned Aadhar Centre in India.

Though Aadhar is stated to be mandatory, the notification contain the following provisions as well:

v) The above provisions shall be applicable in all states except J&K, Assam & Meghalaya.

vi) The applicants who have passed or appearing in Class XII examination from the states of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya need to enter the passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid Govt. identity number provided they should select the city of examination in these states only.

Hence the matter could be taken up with the authorities concerned so that special provision could be made for kids presently studying abroad.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 07 December 2016
Mr. Venu's workable suggestion may be put up to the authorities.

You need not even provide the adhar card number. You can apply for it and get the registration / application number, this can be used for JEE exam.

For this you have to approach the Adhar center. However you can approach the Supreme court for exemption, explaining the practical difficulties. You have the similar problem like in JK, Assam etc.
Guest (Expert) 07 December 2016
Director Arunagiri of Gemmia Oil Tech Ltd Whether you Could assure that Matter could be taken to Supreme court and Could be Completed with in Jan 2nd of 2017 you could also mention what would be the Fees/expenses for it.
