Hi
I am currently residing at Muscat.
I have booked one property in ready project.
Now I want to register property in my name.
1) Whats the procedure of POA to be given to my dad?
2) Is registration required for POA also or simple notary will do?

POA must be registered and done where the property is located.
Notary POA is not considered for doing any legal work related to that property. It is only mutual understanding between the parties.

Your father may be allowed to appear on your behalf and register in your name.

Dear Mr.Rahul,
You can make your PoA in Muscat itself.
After signing, get it attested by Indian Consolate there or by a Notary.
Then send it to your father in India.
Then Your father can approach the District Registrar along with the PoA and get it adjudicated.
Please keep in mind that the envelop containing the PoA, may some time be required at the time of adjudication, so keep it in safe custody.

A person staying abroad can execute the POA from foreign location also.
So you have to execute the and notarise the same in Muscat and send it across to India.
The same would be adjudicated from Collector's office and then it would be ready for use.
