Service Law Banks

(Querist) 21 June 2016 This query is : Resolved
Sir, My Husband was terminated from SBI in 2013 who was working as PO at that time due to non disclosure of pending case at that time. We have filed a case in High Court in 2013. It reached the Hon' ble Judge after 3 years recently and he asked the Bank to submit records regarding termination and gave them 2 weeks. My query is whether the case reaches him exactly after 2 weeks as mentioned by him without any body' s intervention?? Will our case move at faster rate from now onwards??
Kumar Doab (Expert) 21 June 2016
The case has been listed for the date fixed.

Both parties shall appear.
Bank has to submit record.
Your lawyer shall handle the matter.

You don't have to remind the court/judge for the date and your case.

Agreed with expert author need to give specific fact of case.
As judicial process will take its own time as also limitation applicable.

Judicial process takes time, you may hope faster speed without confirmation.

Ms.Suneetha - It is a court direction to the Bank to submit the relevant record within 2 weeks. It does not mean that the case will be listed automatically after expiry of 2 weeks. Further more, the Bank may seek some more time. Even if the Bank submits the record, the case will not come to the bench for hearing on expiry of two weeks time or the extended time if sought by the Bank. It will take its own time. I do not what type of interventions are there in your mind. Known intervention is - your side advocate can represent the judge for posting and early disposal. This can be by way of oral mentions or by way of filing an expediting petition. Do not expect the case will settle immediately. It is only a beginning. Hope you could understand now.
