Sir. One director of a company by RTI Application requested information. They requested information is that : The cheque issued in favour them was bounced as "Stop payment: instructed by the drawer. They want who was given such instruction; and copy of letter containing such instruction.
Company is not citizen. Can we give information to the Director though he is not the beneficiary?

Is the company (addressee of the application under RTI Act)a "Public Authority?" If so, send reply, otherwise provisions of Right to Information Act do not apply to private company/persons.
