Anirudh (Expert) 01 November 2015
There are no such exemptions provided in rules.

If she is fit for official duties and she resumed duty after leave, it is taken that she is fit for all types of jobs. In any case, now a days, in the electoral booth, there are 4-5 persons assigned, and the job is being performed without any difficulty. Therefore the electoral duty is not that difficult or cumbersome as it used to be once upon a time.

ask from concerned office where she is working.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 01 November 2015
In case she is advised against exertion she can meet the DM or SDM (election)(with written request) exemption duty. I her deptt gives name of another person or another person or any deptt volunteers her job becomes easy.

It i sole discretion of the DM

If her name gets deleted then make sure that computer record of DM office is also corrected so that her name is not erroneously included in e-mail sent to the police for arresting absentees.

She has to contact election office / SDM office with request.

I agree with Sri Suhir Kumar.
