Junior getting more pay

I was appointed as B T asst in 1992 in tamil nadu aided school .I was promoted as p g asst in 2004. I got 2 incentive at time of initial appointment,.My junior was appointed as B T asst one year later that is 1993, he has been working in same cadre and got incentive recently , now my salary is very much less than my junior. please give your advise

IN MANY STATES, IF A SENIOR IS GETTING PAY LESS THAN HIS JUNIOR, IN SUCH CASES, THE PAY OF THAT EMPLOYEE WILL BE STEPPED UP. SO APPLY FOR THE SAME TO THE EMPLOYER IF THERE IS PROVISION IN YOUR STATE.

I agree with the expert advise of Kavksatyanarayana. However, did you apply to your department for the anomaly?? If not send your representation immediately.
Engage and consult a local lawyer practicing in service matters for further guidance and proceeding.

full facts are not there.
if junior has got more incentives then you have no case.
if junior has got same incentives in new pay scale then you have no case.

You can not claim higher pay only on the basis that you were appointed first. In private concerns this type of anomaly occurs. You should represent management to remove this, if it is against the service conditions.

The question of stepping up of pay of the senior vis-a-vis arises only if the anomaly arises as a result of pay fixation.

You should make a written representation quoting the anomaly in pay compared to that of the junior and other details, wait for the reply from the authorities, thus after exhausting the remedies available within, you may consider about necessary legal actions.
