Power of attorney

two sisters want to give power of attorney to their mother for looking after land matters the land is ancestral property.
can they have to give it separtely or they can give combinely . what is the required amount of stamp paper in Maharashtra

It is advisable to give it separately. Normally Rs. 10 stamp paper would be sufficient for granting Power of Attorney. However, as at times the States have different rates, please check up locally.

Dear Author,Irrespective of States Only On Minimum Rs.100/- Stamp Paper the Power of attorney should be executed.In your case it could be done Combined and it would avoid future issues and problems Practically.

Well there is no hurdle if both give power in the same DEED. In WB we execute single POA to give POA by more than one principals.

Two or more principals can execute a single power of attorney deed to an agent, there is nothing wrong legally in it.
