Memo of appearance in divorce case

Petitioner filed divorce petition. The respondent is in Canada just left India. He is unable to give POA as the consulate is around 3500 kms away. Is memo of appearance enough? Whether based on this memo of appearance, can we submit Written statement without his signature? In this connection any model memo of appearance is available?

WS can be sent to him, and obtain his Sign, and submit.

Family Court insist Personal presence of parties. Check & inform , he is out of India. & unable to appear personally.

WS should be filed after getting it signed from him before indian consulate.

Without his POA/vakalatnama nobody can represent him in day to day hearing.
However on the first day the court would postpone the date but on the next dates advocate is to be engaged by him or his constituted attorney.
