I'm preparing for ssc cgl exam and I'm not able to submit my father's name as Barun Kr. Mallick in the online ssc cgl application form. they says no special characters are allowed ( like Dr. , Mr. , Kr. ) .this is my real problem .

In my all documents my fathers name is Barun Kr. Mallick expect adhar card(here spelled Barun kumar mallick)

You may also write full name if you wish.
malipeddi jaggarao (Expert) 08 August 2014
To be safer you write your father name :

Barun Kr Mallick

That means simply remove (.)
This is more appropriate and safe.
Koushik Mallick (Querist) 08 August 2014
Ok sir, malipeddi jaggarao .
thank you.
is there any different between (kumar) and (kR.).
P. Venu (Expert) 10 August 2014
There is no Names (or Naming) Act in our country. One's name is strictly a personal and private matter. There are different usages in various parts of the country. However, none of them are mandatory.

Well advised by experts though the query does not carry any legal significance.
