I have entered into a 100 rs Non Judicial Stamp Paper agreement . The other party has done overwritting on the date section ( 2024 chanaged to 2014 -2 canceled by 1. Is this permissable. Should he have drafted a new agreeement ?
Is this agreement valid in a court?

Holiday vacation agreement for 30 days. The date of agreement has been overwritten. I have not been informed about this correction .this was observed when i filed a case in consumer forum and opposite party is showing this overwritten agreement. Can I term this agreement void as I have not signed near the correction?

In such case the contents are to be looked into. If date alteration is authenticated it is valid.

In any case, 2024 has no relevance to the agreement executed in 2014; Material content have to be understood without much fuss about date correction which seems to be obvious and genuine writing mistake only

Stamp purchased in 2014 becomes stale in 2024, any way.

Very properly opined by experts, I endorse their views. Question is not about a correction in date, its validity based on the rectal of the agreement, so concentrate on that aspect.
