Sir,
Sorry if any way it is not relevant to law,But i am unfamiliar to Legal system, i requested for advise on this issue because sometime the PW says statement which is not know to the counsel of accused as occurrence has taken place 5 years back,or PW puts it in different tone

Better accused should ask questions / cross the PWs through his lawyer.

Yes accused can do take cross with the permission of the court.if an advocate filed Vakalatnama for u in his no show you can ask.the court permission.if you do not have advocate it is your right to cross examin the witness

During cross examination of prosecution witness by your counsel, if you feel that your advocate is missing out something, you may advise him in the open court about this provided your behavior is not disturbing the court activities.

Give proper briefing to your counsel before hand so that s/he may ask all relevant questions at the time of cross-examination.
Your fault should not blame your counsel, bad manners

I have give a lot of respect to my counsel,we discussed it, but it was a new demand added by them & it was something added new to the list allegation of demands to me in court.
So, it is neither his fault nor mine.
