V R SHROFF (Expert) 28 January 2014
yes accused can be arrested..
produced before court, and eligible to be released on furnishing get regular/ cash bail..
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 28 January 2014
The rejection of the bail petition is not at all ground for the arrest.

It depends upon the merits of the case. And the IO has to apply his mind whether to arrest or not.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 28 January 2014
Can be arrested if circumstances so warrant.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 28 January 2014
Apprehending arrest, the accused filed anticipatory bail, if he feels that the danger is over and no more existing, he endorses as 'Not pressed' upon which the AB gets dismissed, so it is the accused who has to say whether he can be arrested or not subsequent to dismissal of AB.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 30 January 2014
What was the reason for filing petition for AB? Does the reason still subsist?
If yes, why it was "not pressed"?
Since the petition for AB has been dismissed, there is no orders for the police to stop arrest.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 30 January 2014
If bail application has been dismissed, police may arrest the accused, if need is felt by it.
R.V.RAO (Expert) 31 January 2014
the answer to query is "yes"
